What is sustainability?

By definition, sustainability has been transformed into a way of thinking and living that satisfies the necessities of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to achieve their own needs. Said in a simpler way, " leave the world in a better shape than you found it, take only what you need and be responsible of your acts ". Sustainability requires to be conscious of how our acts affect the environment and the community that surrounds us.

This means that the development of a country cannot be based on the non-controlled explotation of its natural, cultural and social resources to satisfy the basic needs of the public, because this resources are the unique platform in which the future generations will satisfy their own needs.
